Mechitas La Milagrosa, hace todos los milagros are used for oils lamps or to float a lit wick on a liquid.

Each box of mechitas comes with a floating triangular base with cork disks on each point. You float the base in your bowl of oil then drop a wick into the opening in the center of the base then light it up with matches or lighter. 

Always use caution with wicks and fire.
